Wine & Swine

Wine & Swine is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience Central Texas’ most celebrated and adventurous chefs presenting their culinary personality in the form of all things pork. Each chef participates in the authentic pig roast, many staying overnight to roast whole pigs, to compete for a cash prize and the title of Best Pork Dish. The ultimate Sunday funday, Wine & Swine is an afternoon event filled with remarkable wines and kickin’ live tunes in the gorgeous outdoor space at Camp Mabry, located in the heart of Central Austin.

Tickets are now sold out! A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $100.
This is a rain or shine event! Due to the chance of rain, please be prepared for inclement weather, dress accordingly, and bring umbrellas.
In the event of severe weather, including thunder and lightning in the surrounding area, the Austin Food & Wine Alliance will cancel Wine & Swine and refund all ticket purchases to attendees. If a cancellation is required, you will be notified via email by 11 am Sunday.

Thanks to our friends at Bulleit, guests at Wine & Swine this Sunday are invited to leave a long-lasting impression on a special collaborative art project. BULLEIT #FRONTIERWORKS BOTTLE IMPRESSIONS celebrates the frontier spirit of artistic expression in all of us by creating mini masterpieces with crayon + the iconic Bulleit bottle. AFWA and Bulleit have partnered to showcase this artwork created at Wine & Swine by displaying it on a billboard in downtown Austin at the end of this month. Friends of the Frontier are invited to share their creativity via this billboard and personal social channels by tagging @bulleit #frontierworks and @lanaloveswhiskey

The Austin-based ten-piece collective of musicians known as Hard Proof began by studying the blueprint of Fela Kuti’s Africa 70 band, as well as funk and jazz from the whole of sub-Saharan Africa. Founded in 2008, Hard Proof features members of Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, The Calm Blue Sea, Cougar, Spoon, the Echocentrics, and several other notable Austin acts. The group was voted  “Best Performing Band” in 2013, 2014 and 2017 at the Austin Music Awards.
